Question:

What Baggage locking slam latch would I need for a 2017 Dutchmen Kodiak Ultimate 288BHSL? Im not finding the exact match anywhere? This would be for the front storage doors. Thanks

Manufacturers do not list the part numbers they use so we have no way of looking up the specific match but we can measure the cutout hole to determine the correct replacement.

To do this you'll just need to remove the backing plate from the slam latch and measure the height and width of the hole. With that measurement we can fins a corresponding fit.

For example, the Global Link RV Baggage Door Slam Latch # 295-000078 you were looking at has a recommended cutout hole of 3-7/8" wide and 3-3/8" tall.
