Installing A Thule Hullavator On A 2012 GMC Sierra Extend Cab With A Cap

I purchased the hullavatorsfoot 2 sets. I own a 2012 GMC Sierra extended cab with a cap. I need the mounts and bars to be able to use them over the cab of the truck. I would also like to put rails on the cap of the truck with the appropriate standoffs so I could move one of the bars to the cap and keep it at the same height as the bar on the cab. If thats not possible what are the different standoff height options for the bars on the cap? Thank You

Since your 2012 GMC Sierra extended cab has a naked roof, the tower/feet you have to install on the roof of your vehicle will not be compatible with the ones you will have installed on the cap.
If you want to carry the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs - Side Loading, part # TH898, I recommend the following roof rack:
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 59" Long - Qty 2, part # RRVA150B-2
Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Naked Roofs or Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 4, part # RRRLKVA
Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof, part # DK227
You will have to go with a standard size crossbar, not a heavy-duty crossbar. The Hullavator will not fit on a heavy-duty crossbar. You will need to have between 4" and 8" of crossbar extend beyond the Rhino-Rack leg. I will include a picture showing this measurement below.
You can install the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount - Black - Standard - 59" Long, part # Y02-490B, on the cap of your truck. This installation will require drilling into your vehicle's cap.
