Hinge Plate Clearance Needed For Installing A MORryde StepAbove RV Step

Question:
What is the depth from the inside of the threshold going into the rv. I have an interior step protruding into the doorway opening.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The hinge plate of the MORryde Flip Tread RV Steps # MR42UR is 4-1/4" in depth.
If you have an obstruction such as an interior step that is protruding into the door opening, you'll need to measure 4.5" from inside of the door flange, then check to see if there is at least 5.5" of clearance inside the door threshold from that point. If so, the steps will be able to fold up properly.
