Question:
I own a U.S.-spec 2011 Honda Pilot with tow package U.S. style receiver hitch 2 inch by 2 inch. However, I live in Europe and would like to tow a European trailer. What products would I need to tow a European trailer on my U.S. Honda Pilot in terms of the ball mount, ball, and wiring?

The products you need really will depend on the trailer itself. You will need to check out the coupler on the trailer as well as the wiring harness. This will let you determine which wiring connection you need as well as the ball mount style and ball size.
It may be possible that you could use a standard ball mount like the # 2753 you were looking at. You would also require a ball so you could use the # 63845 for a 2" ball. Some European trailers and accessories require a Euro style ball mount to fit. For a 1-7/8" ball you could use the # C45551 or for a 2" ball the # C45562.
More than likely the wiring will also be different from our standard 4-way and 7-way. It may be possible to find a wiring harness with the European connection but that is not something we carry. You may also be able to find an adapter that will convert a 4-way or 7-way to the connection you need.
For a 4-way you can use the # 118491. For a 7-way you would need the # 118253. The 4-way will only power the trailer's lights. If you have brakes on the trailer you would need a 7-way. If an adapter is not available, and a different wiring harness is not available, your only choice would likely be to cut off the 4-way or 7-way connection and make a custom wiring using the correct connection.
