Question:
I bought a 2006 keystone cambridge. For whatever the reason the king pin is too short to mount the anderson adapter. The moryde Rpb72-116 thats on it has too short of a pin. Ive asked alot of trailer places around me and they all say they have never seen this issue. Can i put this skid plate and king pin on to fix the problem or do you have any other ideas?

Yes, the only way to use the Andersen Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 with your MORryde cushioned pin box is to replace your mounting plate with the:
-5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter Mounting Plate for MORryde Pin Boxes # MR37ZR like you mentioned.
Additionally, you may also need a set of safety chains # AM3109 since you are changing to a gooseneck connection for your trailer.
