Torque Specs And Instructions For Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit C16429-204

Question:

I installed the rails C16429-204 on my 2023 2500HD about a year ago. Now Im wanting to re torque everything but have misplaced my instructions, could you please send me the torque specs, thanks.

Hey Dave, yes, I can definitely help with that. For the Curt Rail Kit # C16429-204 you will torque all 1/2" hardware to 110 ft-lbs, and all 5/8" hardware to 210 ft-lbs. The U-bolts are 75 ft-lbs.

Hey Jesse the Patriot hitch is so far been working out well. I'm hauling a GD 3503GK 2024 and have experienced a bit of chucking so I have ordered morryde MR83QR pin box ,hopefully I'll be pleased with it. And thanks again for your help.

@DaveC Nice! That's a solid setup! I think you'll definitely be happy with the cushioned MORryde pin box compared to a standard pin box. Should noticeably help smooth things out. Glad to help anytime though. You know where to find me if you need anything!
