Does Yakima RoadShower Portable Solar Shower for Roof Racks Install Inside of Roof Rack Feet

Question:
Why does it need to be installed on the inside of the feet? The pictures show that it is installed.

Yakima does recommend installing the Yakima RoadShower Portable Solar Shower for Roof Racks # Y89VR on the inside of the roof rack towers. This is so that the rack has both towers supporting the weight of it when it is filled up. The reason you see it mounted on the outside of the ladder rack feet in our product pictures is ladder racks have much higher weight capacities.
