Is there an extender available for the factory roof rack or add on rack so I have the extra length need for the Thule 898? My vehicle is a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.

There is not any type of extender or way to use a load assist kayak carrier on the factory roof rack of your 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, but there are kayak carriers that are simpler to use than others. The easiest way to get a kayak on your '21 Pacifica is with a rear-loading, saddle-style carrier from Yakima:

The # Y04074 has rollers integrated on the rear cradles so you can push your kayak up and onto the carrier, making it much easier to load than side-mounted carriers that will require you to lift up your entire kayak onto the carrier.

So this is definitely the best option, and it even comes with tie-downs to secure your kayak. There is also the option of adding locks to lock the carrier to your Pacifica's roof rack; for that you'd need the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204.
