Question:

we have a lock similiar to this one: etrailer Trailer Coupler Lock for Flat Lip 1-7/8 and 2 Ball Couplers - Aluminum - Silver Item # e98893 how would we go about getting an extra key for it. Local hardware store couldnt cut one for us.

Assuming the lock you have that is similar to the # e98893 is an etrailer lock, we do have replacement keys available. Since you have a key already you can look at the key for the 3 digit number engraved on the key. Once you have this number you will be able to choose the correct replacement key for a spare.

For example, if you have 014 on your key then the # e88UR would be the correct spare. If you have a different lock brand feel free to reach out and let me know what you have along with the key number. If there is no printed key number on your key then you may be able to find it on the face of the lock core.
