Does Curt Echo Brake Controller Work With Phone Off

After the unit is programed from my phone will it continue with those settings if my phone is off or dies?

Expert Reply:

Yes it will, even with the phone off or if your phone dies, if you have programmed it already, the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 will still work with the most recently programmed settings.

While you won't have the ability to use the manual override if your phone is off, the trailer braking will still be enabled with the Echo # C51180.
