Question:
My slide measurement flange to flange is 81 inches. I have read through all the measurement questions and there seems to be conflicting answers as to whether I need a 7-1 inch awning or a 7-6. I want adequate coverage for the box without getting an awning that is too big.

Expert Reply:
For a slide-out with a flange to flange measurement of 81 inches, the correct slide topper is definitively the 7'1" wide awning. That's exactly what you'll need to cover the slide out and not have it too wide. What you'll need is either of the following slide toppers, depending on if you want Black or White in color:
- Black: Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 7'1" Wide - 48" Projection # LCV000165062
- White: Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 7'1" Wide - 48" Projection # LCV000163287
