Question:

I have a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder SV with all the plugs there .will this harness fit it ? can it be crossed over to work? As I would like to have a 4-pin and seven pin together. Or is there another option for my pathfinder for a four and seven pin hookup?

Hello Michael.

In order to add a 7-way trailer connector to a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder you'll need to start with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK58VR. Then from there you want to add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. After you install those 2 components it will put both the 4 flat and 7 way on the back of the vehicle.

Why does Nissan official site sell a 2 piece “kit” for a tow ready 2022 Nissan Pathfinder that includes A. The relay harness wire. B. A 6 pin to 7 pin wire If a conversion is needed and there is no direct plug and play with a 7 pin?

@RobB That sounds like it might be Nissan proprietary wiring which only they'd have. So it looks like they do sell it, but we don't carry it which is why Conner said that there was no direct plug-n-play options.

@BryceD thanks for the quick response. The reason I asked is because I ordered a 6 pin to 7 pin and it’s identical to the one pictured on the Nissan parts site that they sell. I don’t see any difference at all. It’s the same part (wire harness) both ends are identical. I tested the 7 pin with a multi meter and every pin tested positive. But again no lights. Are you saying that somehow the wiring between the 6 pin and the 7 pin on the Nissan part is just different enough to make it work? Or that is I switch to a 6 to a 4 flat and than by a converted to covert the 4 to a 7 my lights will work?
