Looking for best bike rack for Miata convertible 2010.

There is an option that will allow you to carry bikes with your 2010 Mazda Miata Convertible, however, our bike rack manufacturers have determined that the trunk mount bike rack options are not a good fit for the convertible models.

Your best option for carrying bikes is to add a trailer hitch and use a hitch mount bike rack. For your Miata, you can use the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, # C11028. I have attached a photo of this hitch installed on Miata so you can see how it will look. For a bike rack, I recommend going with the Kuat Beta 2 Bike Rack, # B202-114. This is a quality, lightweight bike rack that is compatible with Class I trailer hitches. I have attached a video review of the bike rack for you to check out.

If you plan on carrying any womens, childrens or alternative frame bikes that do not have horizontal top tube, I recommend picking up a bike adapter bar like part # UB01. Bikes with small or angled frames can be difficult to load on a bike rack and can cause ground clearance issues. This adapter will allow you to load the bikes easily and safely.
