I have a 2012 ram 2500 6.7 diesel short bed mega cab and was wondering if the bwgnrk 1313 would fit correctly with no issues before I purchased it?

I The B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1313 is not compatible with the Mega Cab version of your 2012 Ram 2500 but we do have some alternative options that are compatible.

The Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C60682 is a solid option if you're only looking to tow gooseneck trailers with your pickup. If you plan on alternating between 5th wheel and gooseneck or just towing 5th wheel then the Reese Elite Series Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # RP30158-52 is the better option for your application since it has a puck system.

To install a 5th wheel hitch in the Elite Series system you can use the Rail Adapter # RP30156 which makes it compatible with any 5th wheel hitch that fits to industry standard base rails like the B&W Patriot # BWRVK3270.

We also have standard base rail options but they don't give you a clean bed when you remove the hitch like what you see with the Elite Series kit.
