Replacement Driver and Idler Heads for Solera Slide-Topper Awnings

Hello, I recently had one of my Solera slide topper heads brake during operation, and Im unsure which head it is as I have not had a chance to open the end cap to retrieve the tube out. Could you provide some guidance as to which head I will need to replace? If it helps it was the left side as you look at the awning. Thanks.

For your application you either need the Drive Head # LC34FR or the Idler Head # LC87FR. These come with the roll tube as well. I'm not sure which one you broke but the idler head will be on the left side while the drive head is on the right if that helps at all.

Lippert recommends to roll the Replacement Right-Side Head and Roll Bar for Solera RV Slide-Out Awnings #LC34FR 14 times in order to set the proper tension for the awning.

The slide out rollers need to be wound 7 full times when they are installed. So if you were to remove yours to replace the head with the #LC34FR you'd need to wind the roller 7 full times.
