Question:
Last year we bought from Etrailer a roof top Furrion for our RV. However, it now drips water out of the vents and it doesnt seem to blow strongly out of the vents. What is wrong? It also ices up around the coils. I never expected this to happen since we only use it for 5 months a year. Hope you can help. Thank you

There are a few reasons that the Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner like part # FR58PR may be leaking. The most common is simply a blocked/clogged drain. The other reason could however be a leak at the roof gasket. The drain should be able to be unclogged without replacing anything but if the gasket is bad you'll need a new one, the Roof Air Conditioner Gasket Kit part # FR78NR.
In regards to the coils freezing, this is usually caused by the freeze sensors either not being installed correctly the first time or they have fallen out, possibly became unplugged so that is what I recommend checking. Please note, we do recommend professional installation/repair for all RV rooftop air conditioners. If you need further details on troubleshooting please reference the owner's manual included with your unit. The air conditioner does have a two year warranty mind you.
