looking for a simple brake control for my 2003 workhorse van. I tow a single axle trailor and a duel axle car hauler. Thanks

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by simple but since you were looking at the # C27JR I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional # C51180. This also operates using the Curt Echo app on your phone. Instead of installing it inside your van, it plugs in-line with your 7-way. This makes for a simple plug in installation.

The app controls the braking power and also acts as the manual override. Since it can create up to 5 vehicle-trailer profiles you will be able to set it up for both of your trailers. If you would like a physical manual override button the # C83HR can also be added.
