Where Does Power Wire of Trailer Wiring for 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Need to Run
Published 04/26/2022 >
Question:
I have a question about running the wire for trailer lights on my 2018 Jeep grand Cherokee. In all of the directions it states running the wiring to the battery and talk about getting all the way to the front of the vehicle. In my 2018 Jeep GC the battery is under the passengers seat so I was thinking it may be easier to get to instead of going out under the hood. Do I have to run to connectors under the hood or to the Battery under the passenger seat?

The power wire of the Tekonsha trailer wiring kit part # 118727 needs to run to the battery of the vehicle so for your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee you'd need to run it to the battery under the seat. Check out the install video link I attached for more info.
