Question:
I have a Sprinter van that has an existing 12v 25a cigarette lighter outlet. I have converted the van into a camper which has three AGM 12v house batteries in parallel. While driving long days I would like to charge the house batteries but at a low rate from this existing van outlet so as to not stress the van or 25a fuse. Will this work? Thanks

I have an option for you, but what you are describing will not be accomplished in the way you are wanting to do it because the 12v outlet will not provide enough power. Instead you would want to use the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # RED96FR. The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # RED96FR will pull power from your vehicle battery to charge your auxiliary battery.
You would also want to pick up the 23-Amp MIDI Fuse Kit for Redarc In-Vehicle 12-Amp BCDC Battery Charger # RED76FR and the Battery to Fuse Holder Cable # RED66FR for installation.
