Not only does this rack come with a 500 pound weight capacity, it also has easily-removable uprights and crossbars. Also, another advantage is that the uprights can be repositioned anywhere on the bed for a custom bar spread. The top of the crossbars stand 27 inches above your truck's bed, you should have no issues with cab clearance when transporting lumber. You can also add the additional tie-down eye bolts # A4000882 along with the adjustable load stops # A4000880. For straps to secure your lumber to the eye bolts, I recommend the Erickson Cam Buckle Straps with S-Hooks # EM34409.
