Question:
Any cross bars available yet for my 2022 wilderness. Not interested in the expensive Thule from the dealer. I just want to mount a basket, no real weight... Thanks

For a great economical roof rack for your raised factory rails on your 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness, I recommend the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - 58" # MPG216. Not only does this system provide you with 165 pounds of maximum weight capacity, it also comes loaded with locks to protect the rack. The crossbars come with an aerodynamic design that ultimately makes for a quieter ride and increases fuel efficiency. Since the crossbars measure 3" wide x 1" tall, I recommend making sure your basket is compatible with these dimensions if you happen to already have a basket.
If you are in need of an economical basket that is compatible, I recommend either the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep # C18115. This basket comes with a 150 pound weight capacity and includes a quick and easy installation. If you need straps to secure your cargo, that is the Erickson Cam Buckle Tie-Down Straps w/ S-Hooks - 2" x 8' # EM34409.
