Will the Reese Goose Box Adapter for Lippert 1716 Work with Mega Cab

Question:

Will the goose box work with Ram Mega Cab and also will it raise the height of trailer over standard pin box. 19 montana 3791 and 2011 Ram 3500 SRW. BandW is positioned at lowest set of holes and current pin box is up in lowest set also to get level.

The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter part # RP85FR is about the same size as the standard pin box it's designed to replace so you won't gain cab clearance but you won't lose any either. It mounts to the same holes as the original as well so the height adjustment will be very similar. That said, I have attached a full dimensional drawing below as well so you can be certain it will work for you.

If you are replacing a Lippert 1716 pin box, you will need to purchase the Reese Spacer Kit part # RP97FR to install this coupler.
