Question:

Will the Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack fit the Volvo factory load bars Part Number: 32270145. Will the clamp work to secure or does it require the T track? Also, how many locks do I need if I order 2 bike racks?

The Thule UpRide # TH599000 allows for you to clamp onto crossbars without having to use the T-slot mount. In order to make sure the UpRide can clamp your factory bars on your 2022 Volvo XC40, I recommend measuring your crossbars to ensure that they do not exceed 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall. As long as your measurements do not exceed these dimensions, you are good to go!

As far as the lock cores, there are 2 cores involved in each UpRide: 1 that attaches to the clamp and one that attaches to the bike locking cable. If you plan to get 2 UpRides, you need 4 total with the # TH450400. This set will give you keyed-alike cores on both racks.
