Question:
What holds the inside garnish in place? I cant imagine it would be proper to run the sheet metal screws securing the vent down through the garnish to secure it. That would leave pointed screws sticking down into the trailers interior space.

The garnish that comes with the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106-2756 does not come with any predrilled holes so you will need to drill holes where you want them and then use wood screws like part # 31071 to attach it to the interior of your trailer.
