Question:

I have a 1963 Stremline Empress that Im redoing from the ground up so to speak. The drums are Hadco Eng and are 12 inch. The inner seal says it is a Trostel 317-200-5. Do you know of a match to these? If it helps the inner bearing is a Timken 25577 and the outer bearing is a Timken LM 67048.

Given the age of your trailer and from the numbers you gave me, we have the Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing # LM67048 which is the LM 67048 outer bearing. We do not carry the inner bearing or inner seal that you listed. That doesn't mean we don't have a solution for you. It just means we have to take a different route to find the correct seal.

You will want to measure your spindle using a set of digital calipers like the 4" Carbon Fiber Digital Caliper # PTW80157. I have included a diagram that shows you where to measure. If you can get back to me with your measurements, then I would be happy to help you further.
