Is The Inner Arm Available Separately For The Solera Standard Flat Awning Support Arm?

Question:

There are a number of QandA responses for the problem of a bent Solera inner arm. The arm is poorly engineered and a weak point in the design. By experience I can tell you that the arm can be removed, repaired, and re-installed, therefore Solera should offer a replacement part. To remove the part the awning should be fully extended, and the strut disconnected before removing the bent inner arm. When the inner arm is re-installed the strut can be re-connected after the inner arm is connected with the awning fully extended. I have straightened my bent inner arm, but now this is a weak point and eventually the entire assembly will need to be replaced. It is unfortunate that Solera hasnt improved the inner arm and provided the ability to replace this one piece of the full assembly.

The inner arm on the Solera 69" Standard Flat Awning Support Arm # LC281154 is not available as a separate replacement, unfortunately.

You'd have to buy the entire # LC281154 if you needed to replace the inner arm.
