how can i fiure out if I have dampeners on my 05 f150 fx4. with factory installed tow package

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13352 which is a fit for a 2005 Ford F-150 works on models both with or without dampers. That said, you could always just look under the truck to see if you have them or not, you can find some photos online if you don't know what they look like.
Please note, the trailer hitch does not fit models with a factory hitch as it's tied into the bumper.
