Will Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar Work with 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
I want to make sure the equipment I order is compatible with my Jeep. I would like to order the Roadmaster Stowmaster 5000 Tow Bar RM-501 for my motorhome. Looks like the best Base Plate for the Crossbar Style Stowmaster set-up would be the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms 1429-1 Is this a good set up? I also need the correct wiring kit recommendation for my lights/break lights? I dont need a breaking system at this time. Please advise. I did not want to be on hold for an hour and thought I would wait for your answer before ordering.

The Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar part # RM-501 with Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # 1429-1 is indeed a good setup for a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited but for a little more money you could get one that is much easier to use in the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-522 with Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # 1429-3.
In order to control all the lights I recommend the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-152-98146-7. The only other thing you'll need is the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables part # RM-643.
