The receiver attachment is designed to be used only with hitch mounted accessories.

Instead, you're going to need the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # 391CONVPT5L.

With this attachment you will be able to safely tow up to 6,000-lbs, and includes a 2" ball, and trailer wiring.

You'll want to check your owners manual first for your vehicles maximum towing capacity and compare that to the maximum towing capacity of the hitch, and use the lowest rating between the two.
