Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement access door for the Furrion RV tankless water heater. Now this will replace one worn or damaged access door on the Furrion four to six gallon tankless water heater on your RV. Works on part number 405381ET. We do sell that item separately.Basically, you just flip up this latch, turn it, and that'll release the door, and the door you can just pull right off the bottom, just like that, and gain access to your water heater.
And then you notice there's two pins right here on the bottom and two holes. You just drop the door onto those pins. Once you get them on the pins, and then you push it in over that latch. The latch is spring-loaded. You just pull that, twist it to hold it, and then push it down to get it out of the way.
And that'll hold your door in place.It has a nice, bright white color. The measurement on this, including the frame itself, from one side all the way to other, is 16-1/8" by 16-1/8". Again, just to show you how you would open. You just lift up on this latch, twist it till it lines up with the slot. The door will drop down and you can just pull it right off the hinges.
Simple as that. And to put it back in, just line the holes up, inaudible 00:01:34 into place, hold the latch, flip it down. But that should do it for the review on the replacement access door for the Furrion RV tankless water heater..

I thought the water heater was a bit pricy, I decided to trust the reviews and bought it. It was definitely worth the money. I have endless hot water whenever I want it.

I didn't install the outer door as of yet. The directions said to measure the opening which I did and it was 16" so I ordered a 16"door thinking that if i said the opening was 16"that I would get a door that would just cover the opening. Wrong, these doors are exactly 16" so they don't cover the jagged opening the manufacturer cutout to install the old water heater. So I will have to order the next size up. The door assembly is well made and looks like it should install easily.

Some other sizes we have that are a bit bigger is the 18 by 16 inch size: item # FR63FR, or the 18 by 18 inch size: item # FR73FR.
