We are looking to buy a 2020 Chevy Sonic LT to tow 4 down behind a 2020 Winnebago View RV. What equipment do you recommend for the car? We have a hitch already on the RV because we have been dolly towing until now. Thanks!

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter and some fuse bypasses. The parts I recommend using for your 2020 Chevy Sonic include the following:
Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - # BX1703
etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - # e47ZR (includes safety cables)
Roadmaster Wiring Kit - # RM26FR
Brake Kit - Part # DM86VR for hydraulic or part # DM26VR for air motorhome brakes
High-Low Adapter - See linked article
We also have some fuse bypasses for you. If your vehicle has the Keyless Access use Fuse Bypasses # RM76512 and # RM76511 (you need 2 of the 76511). Otherwise you just need the Fuse Bypass # RM76511.
I like the look of the Blue Ox base plate kit and then the etrailer kit has some height adjustability and it'll be easier to disconnect the arms when you park on unlevel ground. The Roadmaster wiring is hard to beat because they do a LOT of research to get it right and then the brake kits install permanently out of the way and are easy to get setup after that initial install.
