To install a set of 5th wheel industry standard rails in your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 you are going to want the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches item # BWRVK2503. These are confirmed to fit your Sierra 1500 5-1/2 foot bed truck. These custom brackets reduce the amount of time required to install the hitch because they install using pre-existing holes in your trucks frame. These rails are compatible with B&W Patriot, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley above-bed 5th-wheel hitches.
The Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit item # C16200 you were looking at are for late 90's GM trucks. They won't fit your truck.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # C56070 to your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
