If Older Truck Didn't Need Slider 5th Wheel Hitch Does 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed Need One
Published 03/15/2022 >
Question:
I had a 2019 GMC 2500 short bed with a 5th wheel slider hitch on bed rails. I never really needed the slider because the 5th wheel trailer never got close to hitting my cab while maneuvering. I now own a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed with the puck system? Can I purchase the Companion without the slider for my new truck, and if it ends up being aligned differently and I need a slider, can I return it? Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since you didn't need a slider hitch with your old truck you wouldn't need it with your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500HD either so you could use the fixed hitch that fits your OEM rail kit part # BWRVK3710.
