Recommended Scissor Steps For a Flat Bed Camper

Good morning, Looking for some scissor step recommendations. Ive looked at the brophy and torqlift. We have a flatbed camper, about 43 high. We need around 20 wide. Wed like them to be removable as we do go offroad. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Torklift steps are going to be just a bit wider than your desired 20" wide mounting dimension at 21-1/2", and the Brophy steps will be just a bit under at 18-1/4". Both the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps # TLA7845 and the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS05 will fit your 43" entry height and are removable.
Of the two the TorkLift steps are the more stable option. They include landing feet for more ground stability and are adjustable to fit uneven terrain. These steps include a lockable storage bracket that keeps the folded steps in place during travel incase you decide you do want to just leave them on while traveling. If not, the mounting bracket can easily be unbolted from your truck bed camper.
