Question:

Need a 4.8x12 tire+rim for my 2003 Top Brand utility Trailer 5x8 Has 5 lugs @ 4.5 spacing w/ a ~2.5 pilot diameter. i dont see wheels with that pilot size. Thanks for any assistance!

You will be able to use the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel # AM30660 on your 2003 Top Brand 5'X8' utility trailer. These wheels have the 5 on 4-1/2" lug pattern you need.

The pilot hole diameter being larger is fine on your trailer as the wheels and hubs are lug centric. Wheel manufacturers have made the pilot holes larger to ensure they fit more than one hub size.

The Chrome Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # 12CLN will fit wheels with a stud up to 1-1/4" inside the lug nut or the Long Chrome Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # 12CLN-L will fit a stud up to 1-3/4" inside the lung nut.
