Will the Rhino-Rack 2 Bike Carrier Work with Hard Spare Tire Cover

Will this fit over a hardened tire cover or should it only be used on a bare tire

The Rhino-Rack 2 Bike Carrier part # RR64QH can only be used with a bare, therefore you can't have any sort of cover on the tire whether that's soft or hard. I don't know of any options for a tire with cover so you will need to take this off if you want to mount a rack. The risk of slippage is too high when the cover is in place.
