Will Optronics A57WB 7-Way to 5-Pole Trailer Connector Adapter Work With a 4-Pole Trailer Connector

Question:
Will the flat end on this unit fit a 4 way flat3 male, 1 female for groundconnector, just carrying tail and stop light on a bump step?

The 5-pole end on the Optronics # A57WB 7-way to 5-pole trailer connector adapter will work with most trailer side 4-pole connector such as you describe. Some 4 pole connectors have a plastic shroud around the 3 exposed pins. You'd simply need to cut that away with a sharp utility knife, and it'll work just fine.
