Im looking for a brake controller for my 2018 4runner sr5. I have a travel trailer that I pull with it. I tried the curt echo and hated it. What would you recommend?

For your 2018 Toyota 4Runner, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR.
This brake controller works with electric, or electric-over-hydraulic trailer brakes, trailers with up to 3 axles, and with 12-volt and 24-volt vehicle electrical systems.
When installed, the Tow-Pro elite creates a sleek finish in an out of the way location, only exposing the control knob.
If you have the factory tow package, you can use the plug in adapter # RED49FR for a quick, easy, installation.
If not, you'll have to hardwire the controller, and you're going to need to add a 4 way # 119250KIT and a 7-way # ETBC7 if one is not already installed.
