Question:

I have the Pace Edwards Ultragroove retractable tonneau cover for a 2021 F150. I thought the Yakima Overhaul HD rack was compatible when using the tonneau kit 1. Now Im not so sure based on more detailed study of the shape and configuration of the T-slot. I also see on Yakimas website that the tonneau kit 1 fit statement has an exception for 2004+ F150s. Can you confirm?

The Tonneau Cover Adapter Kit # Y01155 will work with the Pace Edwards UltraGroove covers unless it's on a 2004 or newer F-150 according to Yakima (which we do have that note on the product page).

Since you have a 2021 Ford F-150 I recommend going with the EL200 Ladder Rack for Pace Edwards UltraGroove Tonneau Covers # 311-ELF0301 which is confirmed to fit and work with your pickup. This gives you a basic square bar setup with a 200 lb weight capacity.
