You would only need to use one of the DeeZee tailgate lift assist units.
The # DZ43300 is designed for the following vehicles:
2002 - 2002 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 Series
2010 - 2013 Ram 1500 All Models
2010 - 2013 Ram 2500 All Models
2010 - 2013 Ram 3500 All Models
2003 - 2013 Dodge Ram Pickup All Models
