Yes it sure can.

You will need a good set up too. I will list out my recommendations for you.

You need the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521239-5.

Next the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520

Some safety cables Demco Coiled Safety Cables - 14,000 lbs - 86" Long - Qty 2 # DM9523003.

A suplemental braking system like the Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39524.

You will need a 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332 to supply power to the brake system.

And to sync up your lights you will need the Roadmaster Universal Wiring Kit with Smart Diodes for Variable Voltage Incandescent Tail Lights # RO94FR.

@Pete if that is the procedure outlined in your owner's manual then yes, you should do that. This is simply a list of parts to tow the vehicle, not the steps you need to follow before flat towing.
