How Do I Ground The ST24RB Tail LIght To My Trailer
Updated 03/03/2022 | Published 03/02/2022 >
Question:
I am confused regarding the wiring explanation in your description. How can the light be for tail lights, turn signal, and stop lights and have 2 wires, with one of the wires a ground? That would leave one wire for power to the double element bulb. Is the correct explanation one wire for turn and stop light, one wire for tail lights, and the studs for ground?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Turn, Tail - Incandescent - Round - Red Lens - Passenger Side, part # ST24RB, has studs that will screw into the frame of your trailer. Those studs will act as the ground for these lights. If the lights will not mount directly to the metal frame of your trailer, you will have to add a jumper wire to ground the lights.
