Question:
I need a hitch for a 2006 Freightliner FRED RV chassis? The one on the chassis now is a Curt 81201 which is discontinued.

For your application you'll need to use one of our universal RV trailer hitches like the Curt Hitch # C13704. This fits by bolting or welding it to the frame of the vehicle and is compatible with frames that are 22" - 66" wide.
Attached is a review video and installation instructions for you to check out. If this doesn't match up with the width of your frame please let me know what your frame measures and I'd be more than happy to help you find a solution from the linked selection.
