does this kit fit 2013 ford f-350 8 ft bed with diesel def tank

The Curt 5th wheel trailer hitch installation kit # C16424-104 does not exclude the diesel models of the 2013 Ford F-350. The DEF tank should not be an issue at all and you will be able to install this installation kit.
You can also use # RP50026-58 which was specifically designed to not interfere with the DEF tank.
