The Curt Trailer Hitch # C11434 is a confirmed fit for the 4-door sedan version of the 2010 Kia Forte. This bolt-on hitch installs with included hardware and requires no welding or drilling, but the exhaust must be temporarily

You can use this hitch to carry any Class I accessory item, such as a bike or cargo carrier, but please note that Kia does not rate the Forte for towing. The Curt hitch is rated for a maximum tongue weight of 200-lbs. This means the weight of your bike or cargo carrier plus the weight of what you load must not exceed 200-lbs total weight. Please note that Curt requires use of a stabilizing strap, part # 18050, whenever this hitch is used with bike or cargo carriers.

Bike racks for Class I hitches are limited to carrying two bikes (even if the carrier can hold more bikes). I have provided a link to our product page for 2-bike Class I carriers that will fit this 1-1/4-inch hitch. You can choose from either hanging- or platform-style carriers as well as either fixed or folding types. Do note that some bike carriers include locks while others do not. You might refer to the linked article for guidance.

Another link will show you all compatible Class I cargo carriers that will fit the Curt hitch. Among the four listed is the Curt # C18145, which is the lightest of the four at 29 lbs, and this unit will allow you to load the most cargo weight, approximately 171 lbs maximum. I have also linked an article regarding cargo carriers.
