Question:
This is crazy....I have a Harbor Freight trailer P/N 42708. Can you tell me the Buddy size I need for these hubs. Wonder why Harbor Freight doesnt sell Buddies to fit their own trailers. Thanks in advance,

To determine which Bearing Buddy would fit your trailer you will need either a measurement of the hub on your trailer, or the bearing part numbers.
To measure your existing hub it is recommended to use digital calipers to get a precise measurement. The measurement needs to be of the inner diameter of the hub bore. Once you have that measurement then you can choose the Bearing Buddy that is the next size larger.
The most reliable method to identify parts for your trailer is via part numbers. The part number of your existing trailer bearings is located on the outer bearing surface. I have included a photo that shows where to look for the part numbers as well as which portion to measure for compatible bearing buddies. Once you know the bearing number you can search our site with that reference to see all compatible Bearing Buddy protectors available for your trailer.
I have provided a link to the Bearing Buddy products that we have available. You can narrow the product options according to your hub size. I have also included a link to a helpful article for your reference.
