If your 1993 Chevy K3500 4x4 has a tow rating of 10,000 pounds, there is no way to safely tow 12,000 pounds unless some of the weight is alleviated from the hitch. For example, you can try to alleviate some unneeded weight from the trailer itself. Another way to eliminate some weight is to use a front-hitch and a cargo carrier like the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - 2" # 31042 along with the 20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18151.
