Will the running boards intended for a 2019 GMC fit on a 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel?

Sure won't! The fitments are different enough that you'll need a new running board and mounting hardware. I've attached a link to our selection of running boards/nerf bars that fit your 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel and out of that selection I recommend checking out the Aries RidgeStep Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit # AA2055515 because there are punched holes in the whole length of the running board that give you better grip in slippery and muddy conditions.
