How To Find Cold Side of Brake Pedal On 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L for Trailer Brake Controller

I am installing a trailer brake control harness on a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Everything is fine except I cant find a cold wire for the brake pedal. Any ideas? Thanks

In order to find the cold side of the brake pedal or the wire that's only hot with the pedal depressed, you must test each of the wires with a test light while pressing the pedal. I don't think we have done this yet on a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L so I can't tell you which it is but if you want to avoid splicing altogether which is what I really recommend you can just use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 which plugs into the trailer connector and uses your mobile phone.
