Question:

I have a 2017 Outback and now have a full size spare no more donut for me. I have the 18 wheel with Falken Wild Peak AT Trail tire as my spare. I want a storage solution as the spare will not fit in the well inside the car. Can you offer me some solutions to carrying the full size spare? Thanks.

Since you asked for options, one is you can simply store it in a rooftop cargo box on the roof rack of your 2017 Subaru Outback, with the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box # Y95AV.

This cargo box measures 75-1/2" long x 35" wide x 16" tall, so you'll have the room to store it, and this would be a nice option if you also have other gear you like to haul.

The other option is a cargo basket and spare tire carrier for your roof rack:
